Alexa

Registered Dental Assistant

Hospital Coordinator

With a passion for people and a love to help others, I joined the Smile Solutions team in 2014. Talking with our patients and meeting new people are two areas of my job that I enjoy.  I strive to learn new techniques and continue my professional growth in order to provide the best possible care to my patients.

Originally from Southern California, I have lived in Tennessee since 2011 with my husband, Josh. We are parents to three dogs and two cats.  I am a member of Thrive Church and sing on the worship team.

Angela

Registered Dental Assistant

I started working in a dental office in 1984 as a hygiene assistant for my summer job. I became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1988 and have worked for over 33 years in the field of dentistry.  Meeting new people and forming bonds with them to help them overcome their fear of being at the dentist are some of the perks of my job.  Over the years, I have been blessed by making some amazing friends!

I thank the Lord for allowing me to be married to my best friend, Jay Keith, for almost 30 years. We met in the fall of 1988 and married in 1990.  We have had the joy of raising two sons, Jed and Troy.  Our home is shared with two other boys, though.  The first is our German Shepard, Joker, and our Cocker Spaniel, Harvey.  Trips to Surfside Beach make me really happy.  My favorite pastimes include taking pictures and playing competitive tennis.  I am a member of First Baptist Church and enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and church family!

Mary

Registered Dental Hygienist

I love building a personal relationship with each patient. Not only do our conversations create a wonderful bond, but the more I know about a person’s life, the better I can help them. I teach patients about their dental health and how to keep it at its best. I also administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, take X-rays, clean teeth, and treat gum disease.

My husband, Terry, and I were married in 1980. When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, fishing, crafting, and sewing. I’m involved with my church, as a pianist, treasurer, and assistant with sound equipment and our youth group.

Staci

Registered Dental Hygienist

I am passionate about my patients and helping them maintain their optimal dental goals! Developing rapport with each and every patient is the most fulfilling aspect of my career. My skills include taking digital x- rays, treatment of gum disease, oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatment, administration of nitrous oxide, and of course educating my patients!

I surround myself with family and friends in my down time! My husband, John, and I have been married since 1999. Much of my time is spent watching our two boys, Parker and Conner, play travel baseball! It's always a treat to watch a UT football game in our household! I am also a member of First Baptist Church.

Ashley

Business Manager

I thoroughly enjoy working with Dr. Lamons and our team. I love serving the best patients in our small town here at Smile Solutions!  As business manager, I enjoy doing a variety of tasks to assist our patients and team members.  I strive to make every patient experience the best!

My husband, Phillip, and I have known each other all of our lives and were married in 2016.  Between the two of us, we have three children: Riley, Katelyn, and Tillman.  I love spending time with my family, eating doughnuts and Reese Cups, and working on Pinterest projects with Phillip.  My dad took me to my first Tennessee football game when I was 5 years old, and I haven't looked back.  You can find me every fall at Neyland! Go Vols!

Sarah

Clinical Coordinator

Since I joined our office in 2016, I have helped with a wide variery of things. I help assist in the front and the back. I am working on becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. Helping people achieve the smile they desire is a priority. With a real passion for dentistry, I love helping any way I can.  Meeting a lot of great people is an added bonus!

My husband, Corey, and I were married in May of 2007. Our two children, Brody and Britton, are our whole world! We also have to 2 furry babies, our cats. My family and I love to be outdoors and seek adventures. We enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, and everything Disney!

Katie

Registered Dental Assistant

Patient Care Coordinator

I love getting to know our patients and helping them reach their oral hygiene goals. Seeing someone happy with their treatment and new smile is the absolute best experience! I work in our treatment area, providing chairside assistance to Dr. Lamons during dental procedures. I also work at our front desk, greeting patients, verifying their insurance, and scheduling visits.

I will start dental school in the Fall of 2016 at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. I would like to join this practice – Dr. Lamons is my father – as a dentist, once I graduate. I have three dogs, play competitive tennis, and am learning to play golf. I also volunteer with the Kiwanis Club.
